MONTHLY (5 SECONDS)
[ ] Look at the manometer (U-tube gauge) on the pipe
[ ] Fluid should be UNEVEN between the two columns — that means suction
[ ] Level fluid means the fan has stopped: call for service
[ ] Note the normal reading here: ______ inches

ANNUALLY
[ ] Confirm the fan is running (light hum, no rattle or grinding)
[ ] Walk the exterior pipe: check for cracks, loose straps, animal nests at the exhaust
[ ] Check the interior pipe joints for separation
